Danielle Zorbas

Danielle’s artistic inquiry involves film festival and conference participation, exhibition curating, and she is currently co-publishing a compendium of contemporary australian female video artists, Island Salon. Danielle has been published by Dissect Journal and is a casual academic at the University of Technology, Sydney. Her work has screened at Bangkok Underground Film Festival, Revelation Perth International Film Festival, The Picture Show, NYC, Atlantic City Cinefest, Underbelly Arts Festival, Sydney, Demons Mouth Gallery, Oslo, Alaska Projects for safARI Arts Festival, Sydney, Mosaic World Film Festival, Illinois, International Music Video Festival, Paris, Volumes, Zurich.

Satellites (2017) is a conversation born of simple curiosity and deep interest in a region facing acute political, social, cultural, economic unrest. As a global city, Athens presents as an inspired anarchic character, paradoxically emboldened, spirited and aware.
